Client: Direction Générale de la Météorologie · Contract value: MAD 13,000,000

The Story

Numerical weather prediction runs continuously — a model interrupted mid-cycle produces nothing usable. The service needed a room dimensioned for sustained high-density compute, and an operations center from which the whole chain could be watched.

What Did Netis Do

A room built for continuous compute. In-Room free-cooling with containment holds thermal conditions under permanent load. Electrical distribution was rebuilt around a dedicated MV/LV transformer, giving the room its own energy path rather than a branch off the building supply.

Water mist rather than gas. Fire suppression was designed around a water mist system, selected over gaseous suppression for this room’s constraints. Access control, video surveillance and building management complete the protection layer, with a video wall and full interior fit-out.

The Results

  • A TIER III room dimensioned for permanent high-density compute
  • Dedicated MV/LV transformer, independent of the building supply
  • Operations center with video wall, delivered in the same contract
