Sector: Manufacturing · Location: Casablanca, Morocco · Installed capacity: 3.4 MWc
The Story
The site runs continuous production and its electricity bill had become the second largest line in its operating costs. The roof was extensive but ageing, and the operator was unwilling to interrupt production or to take on the structural risk of a badly specified array.
What Did NETIS Do
A field audit established the consumption profile and the load the existing structure could carry. We calculated horizontal and vertical loads before specifying a low-profile mounting system that spreads weight across the frame rather than concentrating it. Installation was phased roof bay by roof bay, working around the production calendar. Panels, structures, inverters, cabinets and cabling were all supplied and installed by our own teams.
The Results
The plant covers a substantial share of daytime consumption and is monitored in real time through SolarPlay. Production was delivered without a single day of shutdown.
