Sector: Manufacturing · Location: Berrechid, Morocco · Installed capacity: 801 kWc
The Story
The plant draws heavily during shifts and drops sharply between them. Short, violent current peaks were inflating the demand charge more than the energy charge, so simply adding panels would not have addressed the biggest line on the bill.
What Did NETIS Do
The study modelled the load curve at quarter-hourly resolution before any equipment was specified. The array was sized against the base load, and peak shaving was designed alongside it so that grid connection and demand management were engineered together rather than bolted on afterwards.
The Results
Both the energy charge and the demand charge fell. The site now has a measured, quarter-hourly view of its own consumption, which it did not have before.
