The Story

Cold rooms and process heat run around the clock, so the load curve is flat and unusually predictable. The difficulty was not the profile but the grid: voltage dips and outages were costing the operator product, not just electricity.

What Did NETIS Do

Solar was sized against the daytime plateau and coupled with battery storage carrying the evening load and riding through short interruptions. The existing generator was kept as a last resort rather than as the default. Everything was engineered as one system so that solar, storage and the genset hand over to each other automatically.

The Results

Daytime demand is now largely met on site, and short grid interruptions no longer reach the cold chain. Generator running hours, and the diesel that goes with them, fell sharply.
