The Story

Warehousing offers an enormous roof surface against a comparatively small electrical load. That combination changes the question: the constraint is not how much you can produce, but what you do with production that exceeds on-site demand.

What Did NETIS Do

We sized the array on the roof rather than on the load, then designed for what to do with the surplus. Part of it charges the site’s handling equipment; the remainder is available for export where the regulatory framework allows it. Coastal salt exposure drove the choice of mounting steel and cable specification.

The Results

The site covers its own daytime consumption and has surplus capacity available. The roof, previously a maintenance cost, became a producing asset.
