Keeping the site alive

Most site downtime is an energy problem, not a radio problem

Radio equipment rarely fails on its own. Rectifiers age, batteries lose capacity, fuel does not arrive, cooling gives up in the hot season. We treat the energy chain as the primary availability risk, because that is what the fault statistics say.

Can you deliver a site turnkey, from acquisition to on air?
Yes, and that is the normal case. Site acquisition support and permits, technical survey, soil investigation, civil works and foundations, tower or rooftop structure, shelter, power, RAN and microwave installation, commissioning and integration, then drive tests and acceptance. One contract, one accountable team.
How do you decide between a greenfield tower, a rooftop and a monopole?
The radio plan sets the required height and position; the site survey and the planning constraints decide the structure. Dense urban areas usually mean rooftops or mono-tube sites, sometimes with camouflage. Rural coverage means greenfield lattice. If the need is temporary or urgent, a Cell on Wheels or a Rapid Deployment Unit gets you on air in days.
Can you work on existing sites rather than new ones?
A large part of what we do is exactly that. Structural audits and tower audits, reinforcement kits, rehabilitation and upgrade works, and adding capacity to structures that were designed for a different antenna load a decade ago.
Do you supply the active radio equipment?
We supply and install telecom active equipment including BTS and radio, RRU and BBU, microwave antennas and IP backhaul. Where you have a vendor framework already, we install and integrate under it rather than compete with it.
What does a managed services contract actually cover?
24/7 NOC dispatch and monitoring, preventive and corrective maintenance on both active and passive equipment, tower maintenance, spare parts management, fuel management and refuelling, and end-to-end field team management. RMS platforms and integration with your existing dashboards come with it.
How quickly can you deploy temporary coverage?
A Cell on Wheels or Rapid Deployment Unit is designed for that: transported, positioned, mast raised, powered and on air without civil works. Timing depends on transmission availability and site access rather than on the structure itself.
