The Story

A retail operator wanted to cut energy costs across several supermarkets and a central distribution warehouse. Treated site by site, each installation would have been small, slow to procure and expensive per kilowatt.

What Did NETIS Do

We audited the whole estate at once and sized a single programme across it, so that engineering, procurement and grid studies were done once rather than repeated. Rooftops carried the arrays; the warehouse, with the largest surface against the most modest load, became the anchor site of the programme.

The Results

A retail load profile peaks exactly when the sun does, which makes self-consumption unusually favourable. The estate now produces a significant share of its own daytime electricity, with performance reported centrally rather than site by site.
