The Story

Building an air base’s IT from nothing means the data center is one lot among many — and every other lot depends on it. Netis delivered the whole programme: network, telephony, security, command center and the TIER III room that carries them.

What Did Netis Do

A TIER III room inside a greenfield programme. The data center was built with precision cooling, generators and UPS, contained rack enclosures, fire suppression, access control with intrusion detection and AI-assisted video surveillance — commissioned in step with the buildings it serves.

Everything that connects to it, by the same contractor. 40 interconnected buildings, a full 10 GB Cisco LAN, more than 1,500 telephone extensions with a DECT system, 200+ km of fiber and multi-pair cabling, an electronic perimeter fence with radars and thermal cameras, a tactical command and control room, and 40 Linux and Windows servers on VMware HA with Oracle Exadata and Dell storage.
